here I have created a block out of every section of my idea this is very useful when looking at asset placement, if its the correct size and what space I need to fill.



here is another quick sketch of the door between the bar and the club




the next image is of the final area the strip bar i am thinking of adding strobe light effects to this scene to make it fit in more the a games style.


this is a very quick sketch of the street section showing a crashed bus that players will have to navigate around.

Floor Plan


Some location like the alley way and the bar door may need to be rotated in order for the game to move fluidly through the level.


Here is a floor plan for my idea showing each stage of the level with the red lines indicating where the player can move blue lines as possible screen changes and green dopes as people that could be add to the scene/

Generating Ideas (Subway)










After the bar I,v started looking at one of the other ideas I had with the the subway station/train.

A bar could be a good idea for my level and it does fit in with the games art style, but while thinking more about the images of the game we have been shown feature a lot of glowing lights and signs with this and the bar idea I start thinking about The strip bar from Duke nukem.

After Looking though these images I have had a few ideas, from looking at the street of rage 2 images more specifically the bar location, i have started to think a bar scene might work well, another idea that came to mind was a subway train/station similar to the one seen in Warrior returns.

Firstly I have started looking at images of a variety of different side scrolling Beat em ups to try and generate some ideas for the level that I have to produce.
